Therapy with me is not about quick fixes. It’s about engaging in intentional, meaningful work that invites you to examine your life, your patterns, and the ways you experience yourself in relationships. Together, we slow things down and create space to understand the deeper emotional experiences that shape how you think, feel, and connect with others.

I am not in-network with any insurance providers. When using insurance, a mental health diagnosis is typically required and treatment may be subject to certain limitations set by the insurance company, including aspects of the type and duration of care.
In my practice, I value the flexibility to collaborate with clients in determining the pace, focus, and direction of our work together. This allows therapy to be guided by your individual needs rather than external requirements.
If you would like to explore potential out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance plan, I am happy to provide a superbill that you may submit to your provider.

Online therapy (also called telehealth or teletherapy) has been widely researched and shown to be just as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns. Through video sessions, we are still able to meet face-to-face and build a meaningful therapeutic connection, just in a virtual setting.
Many clients appreciate the added convenience of online therapy, including not having to deal with traffic or parking, eliminating commute time, and having greater flexibility with scheduling. It also allows you to attend sessions from a space where you feel most comfortable and private.
Because I provide therapy virtually, I am able to work with individuals and couples located throughout California. Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to protect your privacy.
Before our first session, you will receive a secure link that allows you to join from your computer, tablet, or phone. At your scheduled appointment time, simply click the link from a quiet, private space, and we will meet together virtually.

Once you book a session time, that time is reserved specifically for you. Piyola requires at least 24-hours notice to reschedule or cancel a session. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24-hours notice, or no-show a session you will still be responsible and charged for the full session fee.
